Do we need a joint account?
No. TRYA gathers spending from your respective accounts — joint or not — into a single budget. You decide what belongs to the couple's budget.
Does it replace Tricount or Splitwise?
No, and it's not meant to. TRYA isn't an IOU-settling app: it's a full household budget with connected banks, envelopes and net worth. To settle who owes what after a trip, Splitwise is the right tool; to run a couple's money day to day, that's TRYA.
Is couple budgeting included in the Free plan?
Avatars and couple budgeting are part of TRYA+ (€7.99/month or €49.99/year, or a €149.99 lifetime licence). The Free plan already covers a solo 50/30/20 budget with manual entry.
